Grow Your Vision

Virginians deserve affordable, quality health care, and we need legislators in Richmond who will fight to make that vision a reality. I’m proud to share that the Committee to Protect Health Care (CPHC) recognized my commitment to championing pro-health policies and endorsed me as a Care for VA Candidate for my campaign to represent all of you in the Virginia House of Delegates 51st District!
CPHC fights to expand healthcare access, lower prices for patients, and protect reproductive rights. Combining advocacy campaign tactics with the voices of over 10,000+ medical professionals, the Committee to Protect Health Care passes bold policy reform, holds anti-health care politicians accountable, and fights back against special interests that put profits before patient outcomes. Kimberly Moran declared a National Democratic Redistricting Committee 2023 Democracy Defender!
Congratulations to Kimberly Moran and her KMoran4VA campaign, who have received the endorsement of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC) and its chairman, former Attorney General Eric Holder.
The NDRC is the centralized hub for a comprehensive redistricting strategy that creates fair districts where Democrats can compete. Chaired by the 82nd Attorney General of the United States, Eric H. Holder, Jr., with support from party leaders like President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the NDRC raises awareness of redistricting and empowers the public to get involved in the fight for fair maps - filing lawsuits against gerrymandered, unconstitutional maps. The goal: to rebuild a democracy where voters pick their politicians - not the other way around!
The NDRC now wishes to shine a spotlight on the state and local races most important for protecting our democracy - recognizing candidates who serve as key firewalls against Republican anti-democracy agendas. Campbell County DEMS host Meet & Greet for Candidates Moran, StClair and Woofter
Local Democratic candidates Kim Moran/VHOD District 51, Donna StClair/Senate District 8 and Jennifer Woofter/VHOD District 52 joined a spirited and enthusiastic group of Campbell County Democrats on Sunday, August 12th at the Campbell County Courthouse in Rustburg. The candidates presented the many social and economic issues that concern Virginians today - education k-12, reproductive and civil rights, gun regulations, supporting working families and security and safety to name a few.
These determined and inspiring candidates deserve our thanks - campaigns are hard work. They also need our support. There are many ways to help - offer to host a meet & greet in your home, volunteer to canvass, distribute campaign literature, write postcards. And donate, no matter how small - candidates depend on donations to deliver a campaign.

Use Your Voice!
Active citizen participation is an integral part of a functioning democracy. Members of the General Assembly want and need citizen input when crafting laws. There are many ways in which citizens can communicate with their legislator; phone calls, letters, email, or through visits to their legislative offices. As a citizen of the Commonwealth of Virginia, one of your greatest responsibilities is to help elect the legislators who represent all Virginians. But your role in the democratic process of government does not end at the polls. By sharing your opinions and ideas with your elected officials, you help them resolve issues and evaluate pending legislation. There are a number of online resources available on the Virginia General Assembly website to assist you in taking an active role in the legislative process.
